About The Author
Rabbi Yerucham Fishel haLevy Jacobs was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and received his B.A. degree in Comparative Religion and Jewish History from the University of Vermont. He then continued his studies in yeshiva and kollel in Kfar Chabad, Israel. Under the direction of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, he obtained smicha (Rabbinic ordination) from the worldwide Lubavitch organization as well as from the Chief Rabbinate of Israel.
Rabbi Jacobs holds a Master of Higher Torah Studies degree from the Chief Rabbinate, a Doctorate (equivalency) from the Ministry of Religion, and successfully completed studies as a Rabbinic Attorney. A practicing Rabbi with extensive experience in outreach and chaplaincy, Rabbi Jacobs resides in Kfar Chabad, Israel with his wife and seven children.
